ITINERARY :
DAY 1:
CUSCO – CACHORA - CHIQUISCA.-
Depart by bus
early in the morning from Cusco to Cachora our start point of
the hike we will get mules to carry our packages and start the
hike descending to the canyon of the Apurimac river, campsite at
Chiquisca 1900m.
DAY 2:
CHIQUISCA – CHOQUEQUIRAO.-
We descent for 1
hour and then go up to the village of Santa Rosa after this we
will stop at Marampata for lunch and then continue to
Choquequirao 3,000m there You will have the afternoon to explore
this truly mystical site of the Incas
DAY 3:
CHOQUEQUIRAO.-
Tour in the
archaeological Inca complex, exploring this truly mystical site
of the Incas.
DAY 4:
CHOQUEQUIRAO - HUANIPACA – CUSCO .-
We go down to San
Ignacio and then to Tambobamba where the bus will be waiting to
take us back to Cusco. On the way we will visit the small
complex of Saywite and Tarawasi.
