ITINERARY: Day 1: CUSCO - MACHUPICCHU.- Early morning transfer from your hotel to the train station by trainfrom Cusco to kilometre 104 (start of the trek). Cross the Vilcabamba River and trek to Wiñay Wayna. We have the lunch here, visit the ruins and continue to Machu Picchu, arriving at approximately 3 pm. We take the bus from Machu picchu to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night. inca trail to machu picchu

Day 2: MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO.- Return by bus to Machu Picchu. (arriving at about 7am). Guided tour of the Inca Citadel (2 hours). Free time to explore Machu Picchu or climb up the Wayna Picchu mountain. Return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch, and take the train back to Cusco.

INCA TRAIL TO MACHU PICCHU,  2007/09/07.- In all aspects the trip was better than our expectations.
All the porters were friendly and nice and reliable.
Food was excellent and we liked the variety.
Our guide was surely the best we had in peru so far.
He had a lot of interesting, knowledge about everything in the inca trail.
 He showed  positive, energy and attitude all the time.

. STUDENT DISCOUNT:
In order to get the discount it is necessary to send us via email the scanned copy of your ISIC (International Student Card) within two days.
Without this copy we will not be able to offer you the student discount.
IMPORTANT NOTES
*Reservations need to be done four months prior to arrive to Cusco.
Nevertheless take note there is a limit of visitors per day so I suggest you to book the trip as soon as possible to guarantee your spots.

*Remember to take your passport and your isic card on the inca trail because without they you are not going to be able to do the hiking and take only the necessary items for the 2 days trek, the rest of your luggages you can leave it at your hotel in Cusco (most of hotels and hostals has an storage where to keep until your return)
