ITINERARY: Day 1: CUSCO - MACHUPICCHU.- Early morning transfer from your hotel to the train station by trainfrom Cusco to kilometre 104 (start of the trek). Cross the Vilcabamba River and trek to Wiñay Wayna. We have the lunch here, visit the ruins and continue to Machu Picchu, arriving at approximately 3 pm. We take the bus from Machu picchu to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night. inca trail to machu picchu

Day 2: MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO.- Return by bus to Machu Picchu. (arriving at about 7am). Guided tour of the Inca Citadel (2 hours). Free time to explore Machu Picchu or climb up the Wayna Picchu mountain. Return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch, and take the train back to Cusco.

INKA TRAIL.- The guides were great w/ our small group.Willy explained all of the Inka sites and passed on all at this knowledge..Jose was a great leader and his English gets betterby the day. overall it was a great trip and I hada fantastic time w/ friends and guides .
