ITINERARY:

DAY 1: CUSCO – CRUZPATA – SORAYPAMPA

Leaving from Cusco at 8:00 am in a private bus, and drive to Mollepata. (2800 m.) and then to Cruzpata (3100 m.) the start point for our trek. from here we have an spectacular view of the Humantay snow peak (5902 m.) Easy day trekking to Soraypampa (3900m.) along a flat trail with many level variations and along this road we will see little farms, after approximately four hours of walking, we will arrive at our campsite in Soraypampa (3900 m.). From here we can appreciate the majestic Apu Salkantay (6271 m.). We will camp at this place.

DAY 2: SORAYPAMPA - SISAYPAMPA

We will start the trekking at 8:00 am for a sharp climb up towards the Incachiriasca pass (4850 masl), the highest point of the entire trail, and from which we will have impressive views of the Salkantay snow peak and another sharped mountins We will immediately descend to Yanaq'aq'a. After lunch we will descend towards.Sisaypampa We will camp at this place.

DAY 3: SISAYPAMPA – WAYLLABAMBA

Leaving at 8:00 am to start a downhill walking approx. 4hrs. along the shores of the Pampacahuana river we will arrive to.Wayllabamba (3000m.) a farming community . On the way down we visit Paucarcancha ( Inca archeological site)

DAY 4: WAYLLABAMBA – PACAYMAYU BAJO

Leaving at 8:00 am to start a downhill walking approx. 3hrs. along the shores of the Cusichaca river we will arrive to Llactapata incaarcheological site,afterthelunchwe ´rewalking 3 hrs. to Pacaymayu bajo we camp here

DAY 5: PACAYMAYU BAJO – WIÑAY WAYNA

We will hike along the Urubamba River and trek to Chachabamba we have the lunch here, visit the ruins and continue to Wiñaywayna , arriving at approximately 3 pm. We take the bus from Machu picchu to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night.

DAY 6: WIÑAY WAYNA - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO

After breakfast, we walk to the Intipunco (Sun gate) ,We have an overall view of Machupicchu. We will also visit the most important places in Machupicchu, during the afternoon we take the train back to Cusco
