This traditional 5-day program allows us to delve into the living culture of the Incas that still survives in Cusco, the capital of the Inca empire, each street and each square is full of history and tradition, we will also visit other fascinating places to know and appreciate the enigmatic architecture and the great urban planning that they developed in Saqsayhuaman, Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Machupicchu.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: CUSCO CITY TOUR:
According to your fly information we will meet you at the airport to transfer to hotel Urpi Inn, In the afternoon from 13:30 we will start the Cusco tour through the city and the archaeological centers that surround the city. We will visit the Inca temple of Koricancha the Temple of the Sun, located in the center of the city. Then we continue visiting Sacsayhuaman, which is a spectacular Inca Temple, where the Incas practiced ritual offerings and sacrifaces. We will visit the archaeological centers of Qenqo Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, the city tour ends approximately at 18:30 hours, then will be taken to your hotel to visit the Qosqo Native Art Center before dinner, where you will appreciate the presentation of traditional music and dances of Cusco.
DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY TOUR
In the morning around 8:00 we will depart to visit the Inca ruins of Pisaq a big Inca citadel it has temples, palaces, agricultural terraces and beautiful water fountains, then We continue to the picturesque Pisac market in which the settlers make their commercial transactions as did their ancestors.
We will continue to Urubamba town where We have a buffet lunch in a touristic restaurant. Finally we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station to board the train that starts 16:36 hrs to Aguas Calientes, arriving averaging 18:09 hrs. Spend the night in hotel in Aguas Calientes.
DAY 3: TOUR MACHU PICCHU
After the breakfast at the hotel, we go to bus station to travel by bus for 30 minutes to visit the Inca town of Machu Picchu. The guided tour is 2 hrs. Approximate, you will appreciate the temple of the Sun, water fountains, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters then descend by bus to Aguas Calientes in the afternoon and take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you, to transport you by bus to Cusco and drive you to your hotel
DAY 4: TOUR RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
We will pick up you from your hotel at 05.30 am and start making your way to the Cusipata village (2 hours) Then we will continue 45 minutes to Chillichuani community from here we start our hike of 2 hrs. We will enjoy the view of numerous mountains around as well as of the Ausangate glacier, andean camels in their natural environment, from the view point we will have about one hour to relax and take amazing pictures of this natural wonder other interesting place to appreciate is the Red Valley for enjoy of this mazing landscape, We then hike back to the starting point of the trek, and from there return to Cusco (arriving at approximately 18.00)
DAY 5: TRANSFER OUT
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport according to your fly time.
